The First Rowley Family Blog Posting!!!!

Greetings to all Family, Friends and Neighbors!!!

Robb and Kerryann decided it would be best to try out this blog thing, to attempt to keep our loved ones up to date in our lives. The big question is if we can keep the blog up with the speed of our lives. I guess I'll take the next little bit, and update on each person individually.

Robb is still hard at work at his 4 jobs. Dispatching full time for the Sheriff's Office keeps me plenty busy. I will be training a new dispatcher shortly, and am also keeping busy with extra projects that have come up, such as creating a response plan for individual fire departments in the county . I have taught a Fire & CAD (computer aided dispatching) class to the new dispatchers as well. My 2nd and 3rd jobs involve working part time for the Lehi, and Saratoga Springs Fire Departments. It can become quite challenging juggling my schedule around between these 3 jobs. My fourth job is working with my Dad who is an ear nose and throat Dr. doing hearing tests. I rarely get to do this, but I really enjoy it. It's fun to be in the office, and do work that is somewhat laid back. In my "spare" time I try to stay in shape, and perhaps sneak away on a fishing trip. I love spending time with my 3 beautiful little girls, and trying not to teach them too many of my bad habits :)

Kerryann keeps busy staying home with the aforementioned 3 girls. Keeping up with a 4 year old, 2 year old, and 10 month old hurricane is no simple task, as you other Moms know. She does a great job keeping them entertained, and keeping their minds sharp. Her children are 3 accomplishments she can be proud of!

Kiya has just graduated from pre-school, and is so excited to start Kindergarten. She is also performing in a dance recital tomorrow. She has been attending tap dance & ballet classes for the last few months, and was invited to participate on the competition team. Kiya decided along with Mom and Dad, that this year wasn't the year to start on a competitive team, but are definitely leaving options open. She's also excited for her birthday in a few weeks, and is trying to convince Mom and Dad to get EVERYTHING Hanna Montana.

Layla wants to be just like Mommy.... she recently tried to go for a run on the treadmill, was not so successful, and suffered a treadmill burn on her left arm. She's healing up nicely now, and it never really phased her.

Brielle is almost 11 months now. She is starting to walk pretty well now. She's also been dealing with an ear infection, but Grandpa has been taking care of her. Now the great debate on whether or not to get tubes. The decision was that the next ear infection will warrant tubes. We hope it doesn't come down to that, but know she'll be in good hands if it becomes necessary.

The family is planning a trip to Las Vegas soon, and we'll be enjoying the company of a neighbor family while we are down there. We are all very excited!!! We'll be staying at the Luxor, and trying to take advantage of all the free stuff that Vegas has to offer (some of the not free stuff too). We will try to get some pictures from the trip up as soon as we can after.
